The website can remember two preferences on your device: language and light/dark appearance – only if you accept. No advertising pixels, analytics tools or tracking have been added.

On your first visit, we show a short cookie notice with two equal choices: “Accept” and “Decline”. No language or theme choice is stored before you accept. If you decline, we store only your choice itself (hovding.consent), and any previously stored language and theme choices are deleted. The website works just as well: the language follows the address (.no gives Norwegian, .com gives English), and a selected light/dark appearance applies only while the page is open.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page or with the button below. The legal basis is consent under section 3-15 of the Norwegian Electronic Communications Act and GDPR Article 6(1)(a); storing the choice itself is necessary to respect it.
The choices apply to both the Høvding Group and Høvding Tec pages on the same domain.
External resources and hosting
The website does not load fonts, scripts, maps, videos, analytics tools or other resources from third parties. Text is displayed with the fonts already installed on your device. Images and video are delivered from the website’s own domain via Vercel. Links to external websites, such as Instagram and X, open only when you click them; their own terms and privacy rules then apply.
The website is a static website hosted by Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA). When you visit the pages, Vercel processes technical connection information such as IP address, browser and device information, the requested address and the time. This is necessary to deliver the pages, protect the service against abuse and keep operational logs. Vercel processes this information on our behalf as a data processor. We have not enabled Vercel’s analytics or measurement services. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and available website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Vercel may process information outside the EEA, including in the United States. The transfer is based on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Vercel is certified, and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in Vercel’s data processing addendum (GDPR Chapter V).
